Equipment & Pre-Shift Checklists
Keep track of all your business assets and ensure your crew verifies equipment before starting their day.
Adding Equipment
Go to Equipment in the sidebar (under Business) and click Add Equipment.
Each piece of equipment has:
- •Name — e.g., "2024 Ford F-150" or "John Deere Z345R"
- •Type — Truck, Mower, Trailer, Tool, or Other
- •Year and Serial Number — for tracking and insurance
- •Notes — maintenance history, special instructions
- •Active/Inactive toggle — deactivate without deleting
Pre-Shift Checklists
Each equipment item can have a daily checklist that crew members must complete before starting their route.
To set up a checklist:
- •Edit any equipment item
- •Add checklist items (e.g., "Check oil level", "Inspect blades", "Verify fuel")
- •Mark items as required — crew cannot start until these are checked
Requiring Checklists
The pre-shift checklist requirement is controlled by a toggle at the top of the Equipment page:
Pre-Shift Equipment Checklist — When ON, crew members see the checklist at the top of their field view and must complete it before starting jobs.
Checklist Logs
Completed checklists are logged with timestamps so you have a record of daily equipment inspections for safety and compliance.
