Switching from Jobber

Outgrowing Jobber’s per-seat bill? Switch to lawn-built.

Jobber is a solid generalist — but you pay per user, AI costs extra, and it wasn’t built for lawn care. Import your clients with a CSV, keep unlimited users on a flat plan, and get AI quoting and route optimization included.

Switch in three steps

No data lost, no downtime — and you can run both while you decide.

1

Export your clients from Jobber

In Jobber, go to Clients → and use the CSV export (or Settings → Data export). You’ll get names, contact info, and property addresses. If you also export your service/line-item history, keep it handy — but the client list is all you need to get running.

2

Import into Lawnager

Sign up free, open Settings → Import from Another Platform, choose Jobber, and upload the CSV. Lawnager maps Jobber’s column names automatically, so your clients and their addresses come across cleanly.

3

Run both while you cut over

Start quoting and scheduling in Lawnager the same day. Keep Jobber active through your current billing cycle if you like — move your daily work over at your pace, then cancel Jobber when you’re confident. No per-seat charge for adding your crew on Lawnager.

What comes across

  • Client names and contact info
  • Property / service addresses
  • Your customer list, ready to schedule
  • Phone and email for reminders

What you gain

  • Unlimited users on paid plans — Jobber charges per seat, so every crew member adds to the bill
  • AI quoting on every plan — Jobber’s Copilot is a paid, higher-tier add-on
  • Route optimization included — Jobber locks it behind Grow+
  • Neighborhood Blitz door-to-door acquisition — Jobber has nothing like it

Jobber is a genuinely capable platform with a big integration marketplace, and if you run multiple trades or lean on 40+ app integrations, staying may be right. But if you’re lawn-focused and tired of per-seat pricing and paying extra for AI, Lawnager gives you lawn-built workflows, unlimited users, and AI on every plan — starting free.

Common questions about switching

How is Lawnager cheaper than Jobber?

Jobber charges per user, so your bill grows every time you add a crew member. Lawnager’s paid plans are a flat $49 or $99/month with unlimited users — and there’s a genuinely free plan to start. For a 2–4 person crew, that difference adds up fast.

Will I lose my client data?

No. The import copies your clients into Lawnager; your Jobber account is untouched. Export a CSV, upload it, and your customers and addresses are in Lawnager — keep Jobber running until you’re ready to cancel.

Does Lawnager have route optimization like Jobber?

Yes — road-following route optimization (powered by Mapbox) is included on every Lawnager plan, including free. Jobber only offers it on its higher Grow tiers.

Can I move my quotes and jobs, not just customers?

The core migration is your customer list (the hard part to re-enter). Open quotes and recurring schedules are quick to recreate in Lawnager’s AI quote builder — and most operators use the switch as a chance to clean house. Keep both tools running while you rebuild active work.
