Our Commitment
Lawnager is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our platform inclusive and usable.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
What We Do
- Semantic HTML — we use proper heading hierarchy, landmark elements, and meaningful link text throughout the application.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Modals trap focus to prevent users from tabbing to obscured content.
- Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Form labels — all form inputs are associated with descriptive labels to assist screen reader users.
- Focus indicators — visible focus rings are provided on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
- Screen reader support — interactive components include ARIA labels, roles, and states where native HTML semantics are insufficient.
- Responsive design — the interface adapts to different screen sizes and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full compliance, some areas of the platform may have accessibility limitations:
- Map views — interactive map components (route planning, job locations) rely on third-party mapping libraries that may not be fully accessible. Equivalent non-map views are provided where possible.
- Third-party integrations — content rendered by external services (Stripe payment forms, QuickBooks OAuth) is governed by those providers' accessibility practices.
- PDF exports — some generated documents may not be fully screen-reader compatible.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all areas of the platform.
