Embedding Your Booking Widget on Your Website
Lawnager's website builder includes an embeddable widget that lets you add a quote request form to any website you already own — no coding required. This means customers can submit service requests directly from your site, and those requests flow straight into Lawnager.
What the Embed Widget Does
- •Lets visitors request a quote from your existing website
- •Captures customer contact info and service details
- •Sends new requests into Lawnager as leads you can follow up on
- •Works on any website platform (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, etc.)
Step 1: Generate Your Embed Code
- •Go to Settings → Website Builder.
- •Scroll down to the Embed Widget section.
- •Click Get Embed Code.
- •Copy the snippet that appears — it will look like a short block of HTML code.
Tip: Your embed code is unique to your account. Don't share it or copy someone else's — it won't work correctly.
Step 2: Add the Widget to Your Website
The steps vary slightly depending on your website platform, but the process is the same: paste your embed code into a custom HTML block wherever you want the form to appear.
WordPress:
- •Open the page or post where you want the form.
- •Add a Custom HTML block.
- •Paste your embed code into the block.
- •Save and publish the page.
Wix:
- •Open the page editor.
- •Click Add → Embed → Custom Code (or "HTML iFrame").
- •Paste your embed code.
- •Resize and position the block as needed.
- •Publish your site.
Squarespace:
- •Edit the page where you want the form.
- •Add a Code block.
- •Paste your embed code.
- •Save the block and publish.
For any other platform, look for an option to add a Custom HTML or Embed Code block — most website builders support this.
Step 3: Test the Widget
- •Visit the live page on your website (not the editor preview).
- •Fill out the widget form as if you were a customer.
- •Go to your Lawnager Dashboard and confirm the request came through.
Common pitfall: If the widget doesn't appear, make sure you published or saved the page on your website platform. Changes in draft mode won't be visible to visitors.
Where New Requests Show Up in Lawnager
When a customer submits the widget form, their request appears as a new entry you can act on from your dashboard. From there you can:
- •Convert it into a Quote using the AI estimator
- •Assign it to a crew member as a Job
- •Invite the customer to the Client Portal so they can approve quotes and make payments
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put the widget on more than one page? Yes. Use the same embed code on as many pages as you want — a homepage, a services page, a contact page, etc.
Does the widget work on mobile? Yes. The widget is responsive and adjusts to fit any screen size automatically.
Can I customize the widget's appearance? The widget uses your branding settings from Settings → Branding, including your logo and colors. Additional visual customization beyond your brand settings is not currently available.
I don't have an external website. Can I still collect online quote requests? Yes. Lawnager's Website Builder (also in Settings → Website Builder) creates a standalone page you can share directly with customers — no separate website needed. The embed widget is specifically for adding the form to a site you already own.
Need Help?
If your widget isn't showing up or requests aren't coming through, double-check that you copied the full embed code and that your page is published. You can regenerate your embed code from Settings → Website Builder at any time.
