Last updated July 12, 2026
Finding reliable crew is one of the hardest parts of running a lawn care business. Lawnager's built-in hiring tools give you a public careers page on your website and a simple applicant pipeline — no separate job board software needed.

Turning On Your Careers Page
Your hiring page lives at [yourslug].lawnager.com/careers and is linked from your website's navigation and footer once enabled.
- •Go to Settings → Hiring & Careers Page
- •Toggle Careers Page on
- •A Careers link automatically appears in your website's header and footer
Once enabled, prospective crew members can find your open positions directly from your website.
Writing Your "Why Work Here" Pitch
Before posting jobs, add a short pitch that tells applicants why they should work for you.
- •In Settings → Hiring & Careers Page, find the Why Work Here section
- •Write your own description, or click Generate with AI to have Lawnager draft it for you
- •Click Save
Tip: The AI draft uses one AI action credit. It's worth it — a compelling pitch gets more applications than a blank page.
Creating a Job Posting
- •Go to Settings → Hiring & Careers Page
- •Click Add Job Listing
- •Fill in the details:
- •Job title (e.g., "Lawn Care Technician")
- •Employment type — Full-time, Part-time, or Seasonal
- •Pay range — hourly or salary
- •Required skills — check the skills applicants will need (mowing, landscaping, maintenance, etc.)
- •Optionally click Draft with AI to generate a full job description from just the title
- •Need the listing in Spanish? Click Translate to Spanish — Lawnager generates the Spanish version automatically
- •Click Save to publish the listing
Your listing appears on your public careers page immediately.
Tip: The required skills you check on the job listing become the applicant's "resume" — they check the same boxes when they apply. Keep your skills list focused on what actually matters for the role.
How Applicants Apply
Applying is designed to be fast — no resume required:
- •Applicants visit your careers page and click Apply
- •They enter their name and phone number (email is optional)
- •They check off the skills they have
- •They can add a short note about their experience
- •Done — the whole process takes under a minute on a phone
You'll get a push notification and email the moment someone applies.

Managing Your Applicant Pipeline
All applications land in one place at Settings → Hiring & Careers Page → Applicants.
Each applicant shows:
- •Name, phone, and email (if provided)
- •Skills they checked
- •Any notes they left
- •Which job listing they applied to
- •Current status
Moving applicants through your pipeline:
- •Click any applicant to open their details
- •Update their status:
- •New — just applied
- •Contacted — you've reached out
- •Interviewing — in progress
- •Hired — welcome to the team
- •Rejected — not a fit
- •Use click-to-call or click-to-text to contact them directly from the app
Filter the list by status or by job listing to stay organized when you're hiring for multiple roles.
Using AI to Score Applicants
When you have multiple applicants and want to prioritize who to call first:
- •Open an applicant's record and click Score Applicant
- •Lawnager gives the applicant a fit score (0–100) with a short summary explaining whether they're a strong candidate for the role
- •To score everyone at once, click Score All from the applicant list
Important: AI scores are a starting point — always use your own judgment before making a hiring decision.
Posting the Job Elsewhere
To share your listing on Indeed, Facebook, or Craigslist:
- •Open the job listing in Settings → Hiring & Careers Page
- •Click Copy for Job Boards
- •Paste the plain-text version (with your apply link included) anywhere you want to post
Common Pitfalls
- •Careers page not showing on your website? Make sure your website is published in Settings → My Website and the careers page toggle is on
- •Not getting applicants? Check that your pay range is filled in — listings without pay ranges get fewer clicks
- •Applicant applied but you didn't get notified? Verify your notification settings in Settings → Notifications and confirm push notifications are enabled on your device

Plan Availability
The careers page and applicant pipeline are available on all plans, including Starter (free). AI drafting and applicant scoring use AI action credits.
